What Makes the State Fair Classic Unlike Any Other
There are a lot of HBCU classics on the calendar. The State Fair Classic sits in its own category — and three things set it apart.
First, it is one of the oldest continuously running HBCU football classics in the country. Its roots trace back to 1925, making it nearly a century old — a tradition that predates almost every other HBCU rivalry game still played today.
